decent single rotor starter heli with one main problem. The heli is underpowered using the stock LIPO Battery and the heli has many glitches as the

carbon brushed motors generate plenty of RF Noise to effect the heli with tail glitching

With the brushless main motor, the RF noise is limited but not

eliminated as the tail motor is still carbon brushed. Unfortunately, the tail motor cannot be made to run as brushless as the electronics cannot support this

function without changing the Tx/Rx. We have upgraded this heli with a main brushless motor mod as well as upgraded the LIPO battery to an 11.1v LIPO

and added Super Skids 300. Check out the videos below and click on the links to purchase the necessary items.

We decided to change that with

a couple of easy modifications. Below are videos with links to connect to the webpage for purchasing the parts for each

mod. Mods can be combined or be stand alone.

X-Treme Metal Rotor Assembly for your E-SKY HBFP Helicopter: (2.4Ghz
Version 2):

One drawback remains the rotor head assembly which is exactly the same as
before. Having said that, all the metal X-treme components fit as they have on
the older legacy helicopter. Below, we did the X-treme metal upgrades on the
rotor head assembly and added the fast blow ATO Fuses for the main motor
(10 AMP) and tail motor (3 AMP) since they are still carbon brushed. We
upgraded the LIPO battery to an 11.1 volt 1,000Mah 25c for longer flight times
and upgraded the landing gear to the Super Skids 400 and added the Super
Skid Super Grips for gripping the ground when landing and taking off. Lastly,
we added the ON/OFF pushbutton Power switch for added convenience.

Carbon Brushed Direct Drive (DD) Kit for the E-SKY HBFP Helicopter: (2.4Ghz
Version 2):

Almost everything on the new E-SKY HBFP V2 is designed well except for the
tail motor which is carbon brushed gear driven. A drawback remains the
carbon brushed tail motor. What a pain to remove let alone the longevity of the
motor. After about 3 dozen full flights on average you have to buy a new one at
about $8.00(USD) a pop. OUCH !!! over a couple of months, this heli can get
expensive. We decided to change that with an easy mounting carbon brushed
N60 direct drive (DD) tail motor. Direct drive means more power as there is no
gear reduction and no pinions to worry about proper meshing.
