E-Sky has done it again -- A low cost

impressive

6-Channel Collective Pitched (CP) entry level

electric helicopter

. We like the new design as the

earlier

version, E-Sky CP2 was not that great as it utilized FM technology and the carbon brushed tail motor was gear reduced . They have

streamlined the

helicopter with a strong rotor head design and a generous sized swahshplate making for precise movement. The biggest

problem however reamins the

carbon brushed motors

. They usually heat up and burned out after a couple dozen full flights. A fuse was also

typically required to protect the Rx. With the

implementation of a Brushless Main Motor, we don't need heat sinks anymore, no more fuses, no wait

time before flying agian as the motor stays cool to

the touch, and best of all, the brushless motor last virtually forever. No need to replace the

stock

motor at $11.00(USD) anymore.

We decided that the main brushless motor was the solution. A high speed brushless main motor to complement the Direct Drive (DD) tail motor.

We also

added the Super Skids 200 landing gear system, the E-

KY Metal Rotor head Kit, as well as the Carbon Fiber Tail boom, Carbon Fiber

laminate

composite blades, and a vertical fin

with

real metal tail struts. We also changed the LIPO battery to a higher "c" rated LIPO of 20c with a

30c topend. We

then added a 3-amp ATO Fast blow fuse for the stock Direct Drive Motor and added a nice ON/OFF Power switch for convenience.
